Student Information | Parent / Carer Information | Teacher & Librarian Information | Challenge Rules | Books | Key Dates | FAQs

3. Download a consent form and have your parent(s)/carer(s) discuss it with you. You must register before the beginning of Term 2. If they agree with it and sign the form, return it to our school's VPRC coordinator, Robin Nankivell. If you would like to participate in the Challenge and receive a certificate signed by the Victorian Premier, Mr John Brumby, you will need to get a parent / carer to sign the first part of this form. If you also wish to and have your name published in a newspaper, you will need to get a parent / carer to sign the second part of this form.
4. When the school receives this signed form, we will register you online with the Challenge. You will then get a user name and password. Your password will have at least 7 characters, either letters or numbers or both. Don't forget your user name and password.
5. If you are already registered online click here to login. Then type in your user name and password.
6. You can start reading as soon as you are registered. Go to your grade level booklist (P-2 or 3-4 or 5-6) and select a book to start reading.  There are over 900 choices of books, including lots of new titles.  Remember, if you are a Grade Prep - 2 student, you must read or share 30 or more books (20 at least from the recommended list), or if you are Grade 3-6 student you must read 15 or more books (10 at least from the recommended list) to complete the Challenge.
7. Record the books that you have read on your Challenger Reading Record online (after you are given your user name and password).
8. When you have completed reading for the Challenge, download your online reading record and have your parent(s)/carer(s) or a teacher sign the printed copy. When signed, give this form to our VPRC coordinator, Robin Nankivell, so that your record of books can be verified.
9. If you have any enquiries, click here to contact Robin, our VPRC coordinator.
Good luck and happy reading!!
